David Smotzer

Dave Smotzer (bass) – Dave is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with majors in Musical Theater and Political Science.  While at BGSU, Dave became involved in a barbershop quartet as the tenor in the Rapscallions.  The "Raps" won the JAD championship in 1981, then were crowned SPEBSQSA International Champions in 1984.  Dave was the youngest director to win an International medal by directing the Cincinnati Western-Hills Chapter.  He also has the distinction of being the JAD Director of the Year and Coach of the year.  He is a past director of the City of Flags Sweet Adeline chorus in Canton, in which his wife, Eileen, also sings.
