The Middle Bass "Happening".............

On the second full weekend in August, approximately 140 barbershoppers from all over the area, converge on Middle Bass Island to Sing.  Friday Evening, a multitude of quartets, as well as the Middle Bass Chorus entertain island visitors, and homeowners at the Monument on Put-N-Bay.  Then on Saturday, the culmination of a "happening" weekend, ends with a performance at the town hall on Middle Bass for the islanders and visitors there.

It is the Middle Bass Experience that spurred the backbone for the creation of the Independence Chapter....a gathering of quartet guys, singing to the best of their individual abilities, creating the chorus sound, similar to the Middle Bass Chorus.

So please enjoy viewing the sampling of Middle Bass, and put the second full weekend in August on your calendar.  It is truly "a happening......." and can be experienced every Thursday evening during the "off season" at the Independence Chapter.
